LG Split System Air Conditioner Error code C1 or CH01 to C9 or CH09 refer to error codes ranging from: Indoor temperature sensor open or closed circuit, Communication (Indoor Wired R/Control) Data Communication Fault, Heat-sink temperature sensor open or closed circuit, Excessive compressor current, Indoor fan not rotating and finally up to the outdoor fan not rotating.
If more than two errors occur at the same exact time, the lower numbered error code will be shown on the display first.
Common error codes
LG Split System Air Conditioner error codes from 01 to 07 refer to errors ranging from open/short circuits, communication issues, outlet pipe sensors short circuiting to Indoor units set in different operation modes.
Error codes 21 to 28 refer to errors ranging from compressor malfunctions/IPM faults, DC Link low voltage, low/high pressure switch is open, Abnormal AC volt input all the way up to the DC Link High Volts – DC Link Voltage is 420V.
Error codes 32, 33 and 40, 41, and 44 to 48 refer to errors ranging from discharge pipe temperature being high, CT Circuit malfunction, Air sensor Open / Short circuit, Suction Pipe Sensor Open / Short circuit, all the way up to D-Pipe & Air Sensor (Open) – Dual Sensor unplugged.
Error codes 51 to 54 refer to errors from Over Capacity – Over Load Combination, Communication Error (Indoor Outdoor) – Poor/Loss of Communication and up to Outdoor 3-Phase Power Supply Reverse Phase / Missing Phase – Incorrect Wiring.
Error codes 60 to 63 and 67 and 67 refer to errors ranging from EEPROM Check Sum – Check Sum Mismatch, Heat-Sink Sensor Temp High, Heat-Sink Sensor Open / Short circuit up to Outdoor BLDC Fan Lock – Fan Motor/Circuit Problem.
